August 6, 2025
There will be an art workshop at the Easton Library scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, from 1:30-3:30 pm, led by Carol Bollinger Green. This FREE class is for ages 10 and up. Pre-registration is required because class size is limited.
"First-time and longer-time painters alike are welcome to have fun playing with vibrant color! Explore making marks, starting just where you are. Will there be a grand gesture of red, a decisive black line, maybe faint spots of green, or a cool wash of blue? With curiosity and wonder, enjoy the freedom of seeing what unfolds. By releasing judgment and comparison, discover the delight of spontaneous creative expression!"
All materials provided: 18 x 24" heavyweight paper, tempera paint, water-soluble wax pastels, wide to delicate brushes, sponges, and thin gloves. Please bring an apron, or wear "painting clothes".
This program is part of Easton Library’s “Color Our World” Summer Reading Program. Please call the library at 518-692-2253 to pre-register, or scan the QR code on the flyer.
Registration deadline is August 4th.
