Julia Hoover, Easton library trustee, receives her patron identification card, which can be used at any library in the Southern Adirondack Library System and the Mohawk Valley Library Association.

Local Author Launches New Book on Regional Women's Suffrage Movement

Strength Without Compromise: Womanly Influence and Political Identity in Turn-of-the-Twentieth Century Rural Upstate New York, by Teri Gay, has recently been released and will make its official debut at a book launch to take place on Wednesday, October 21 at 1:30 pm at Easton Library, 1074 State Route 40 in the Town of Easton.

Bake and Book Sale

Come to Easton Library on Election Day. Support the Friends of the Library with your purchase from a wide variety of delicious baked goods by local bakers. As in previous years, a used book sale will run simultaneously. What a great opportunity to stock up up on reading material for those chilly days just ahead.
