Nadia Christy and her husband, John, have lived on Becker Road in Easton for 25 years, where they raised their two sons, Justin and Andrew. Raja came to live with them four years ago while she was in New Skete Monastery’s breeding program. She continues to live with the Christy’s since her “retirement” from breeding and is a role model and friend to Shiloh, a year old female the Christy’s have been raising for the monastery, too. In January, Nadia retired after 37 years of teaching. She thought that bringing together three things she enjoys–working with children, reading, and spending time with Raja–would be a fun activity to offer at the Easton Library. Join us (Date and Time TBA) and read to Raja for a bit! She’s a gentle girl, a good listener, and loves to have her belly rubbed, too!
